Hawk Walk

This unique bird of prey experience is the perfect introduction to the world of falconry, and gives you the chance to experience the rush of handling and flying Harris hawks. On arrival you'll be met by an experienced instructor, who'll run through all the essentials and introduce you to the birds that you'll be flying. With the introductions out of the way it's time to explore the countryside, and as you work your way through the woodlands and fields you'll get to see the birds in full flight. There has been a fascination with Birds of Prey for centuries. The ancient art of falconry is practiced within many cultures and many walks of life.

These informative and educational experiences are centred around conservation. The aim is to educate all ages into the beauty and magnificence of these raptors and owls with a hands-on and practical approach with an in depth look at how we work at the centre.
