This unforgettable half day experience is the perfect introduction to the mysterious world of owls and gives you the chance to learn about, and handle some of the world's most beautiful birds of prey. After a quick introduction to the to the history of these animals you'll learn some basic skills, but then it's time for the exciting part – meeting the owls! After meeting the birds it's time to put your newly acquired skills to the test by flying, handling and feeding a wide selection of them, and nothing beats the sensation of seeing a majestic bird of prey soar through the air. Important information: Half Day Experiences are available mornings, afternoons & summer evenings.

This unique full day experience gives juniors aged between 8-16 the chance to learn about and handle some of the world's most spectacular birds of prey. The morning session starts with an introduction to the world of falconry, followed by a hands on demonstration of how to handle the birds. After meeting the birds participants will be given the chance to get a closer look at their majesty by flying, handling and feeding a selection of them. To round off this unforgettable experience the junior falconers will be given the chance to fly a trained hawk or owl on their own, which makes the day truly unforgettable. Important information:
The day begins at 11:00am & concludes around 2:30pm.
Only available for juniors (classed as 8 years to 17 years 364 days old). For this experience one suitable guardian or parent must accompany the junior falconer. If more than one parent/adult wishes to accompany the voucher holder an additional cost of 50.00 pounds per adult applies.

A truly brilliant opportunity for owl lovers to get up close and personal with some of the most fascinating owls from around the world. You will learn about the history of these mysterious animals before being introduced to a wide selection of the birds, including the magnificent European Eagle Owl and the tiny Burrowing Owl.
